After searching on the Internet, the current WHMCS XX version that is newer and easier to use is 5.0.3, as well as 4.41 and 4.31 (at the end of the article, I will update and share the download links of these versions in time) , I have installed all these versions, they are similar. Today we will go through the installation process with 4.41.
First, of course, upload the file. Use the FTP tool to transfer the downloaded compressed package to the VPS (or server). You can choose which directory to transfer to. Here I created a whmcs folder in the root directory of the website and prepared to install WHMCS4.41 here.
After uploading the compressed package, go to Putty and decompress it online. Since I uploaded the compressed package to /home/wwwroot/whmcs/, I will take this as an example.

OK, decompression is complete. Next we need to set the 777 attribute in configuration.php, as well as the folder attachments, downloads, and templates_c. This can be done directly with an FTP tool (FlashFXP is recommended), or of course, with direct commands.

The installation process is relatively simple. Enter your IP address (or your domain name) /whmcs/install/install.php in the browser to start the installation (here it starts with The location of the folder I uploaded is taken as an example).
We need to enter the Key during installation. Because it is a cracked version, just enter it casually and everything will pass.
Other things that need to be used during installation are the email address, database name, database username, password, and setting the administrator account and password. The entire installation process is very fast, basically fill in the database information and the next step is completed immediately.
After the installation is completed, use the FTP tool to delete the install folder (if you do not delete the installation folder, you can open the WHMCS installation address and there will be a prompt). The following is the XX version of each version that has been updated in time...

Everyone should note that of the two versions I provide here, version 4.41 is already available by default. Chinese (Chinese on the front desk) interface, all English interface on the backend. Version 4.31 is installed in English by default, but the download package contains Chinese files for the frontend and backend. Just follow the instructions to upload them.
