In the previous two sections, we talked about VPS ordering and how to deal with problems. Today, we will introduce one of our commonly used VPS management panels: SolusVM. SolusVM is the most widely used VPS management panel. It has comprehensive functions and easy operation. SolusVM defaults to an English interface (some Chinese IDCs have Chineseized it). Let’s take a look at some commonly used functions of this panel.
First, we purchased a VPS, and IDC will provide the VPS management panel login address, user name, password and other information in the email. Here, we take VIRPUS as an example, open http://cp.zrblog.net, enter the username (such as vmuser***) and password in our email, and log in.
As shown in the picture, the picture above is the first interface after we log in to SolusVM. Here we can see our VPS host name, IP address, configuration, system information, and online status.
In this interface, we can change our login password and email address. Click Profile on the left, you can see the following interface.
The picture above is some of our information. I have marked it in the picture, so I won’t go into details one by one. After modifying this information, we return to the main interface and enter the VPS management page.
The header part of this interface, good VPS does not have screenshots, is divided into three parts. The left side is the VPS host name, IP address, operating system, and computer room address; the middle part is the graphics The usage status of VPS is optimized; and the right side is the configuration of VPS.
Next, we will focus on the parts of the management section that I have highlighted.
【Reboot】Restart: similar to the restart of our PC restart
【Shutdown】Shutdown: equivalent to The PC is shut down, and the VPS will be offline after the operation
[Boot] Boot: Same as above, equivalent to PC booting
[Re-install OS 】Reinstall the system: Use this menu to reinstall the OS, such as CentOS under linux, debian, etc.
[Root Password]Root password modification: Modify Root password, use when connecting via SSH IP
[IP Address]IP management: available for multiple IPs
After reading the above content, I believe everyone should have a preliminary understanding of the SolusVM panel. However, without practice, it is always just talk on paper. Good VPS recommends that you buy an ordinary monthly VPS to practice, and you will be able to get started quickly!
