Myhost123 is a VPS hosting provider that I have always respected. Good VPS also uses their XEN VPS. Although Myhost123 launched their KVM product about 2 months ago, I have never used it except for taking one for testing. If you really want to build a website, XEN is much more worry-free than KVM. Yesterday evening, I received a notice from Myhost123 regarding the discontinuation of KVM products.
The notice stated: Myhost123 will delete the KVM product on the 29th of this month. The options for users include applying for a refund or transferring to XEN (Seattle, Los AngelesWebNX optional). The following is the original text of the announcement:
Dear Kvm customers,
Due to various reasons, the myhost123 team decided to revoke Kvm’s VPS after research. All Kvm VPS will be deleted on the 29th of this month (Saturday). myhost123 team deeply apologizes to all users of our Kvm VPS.
All paying customers are free to choose a refund based on time, or transfer to a new Seattle Xen server or Webnx server at the original purchase price.
Notes:
1. If you choose the original price transfer, all original Kvm customers will continue to enjoy the original purchase price before December 31st of this year. From December 1st, they will start paying at a 20% discount on the original price of Xen on our current website.
2. For customers who choose Kvm to migrate to Xen, please note: you need to save your VPS data yourself. Myhost123 team deeply apologizes for the inconvenience caused.
3. For customers who choose to refund based on usage time, if you have used it for more than 1 month, you will be refunded the fee for this month's renewal, and you can use it for free until the 29th of this month. If you are a quarterly paying customer , then you will be refunded 2 months of fees based on time.
All Kvm Vps will be deleted uniformly on October 29, 2011.
