We do not advocate this luxurious way of using VPS~ However, when we are in GCP installed the environment and found that it could not be accessed, so we were confused. At this time, we need to understand the firewall rules and open relevant ports so that our probes or web pages can be accessed.
First, we click on the menu, VPC network, firewall rules, as shown in the figure below.
Then, we create a firewall rule, fill in a name, and pay attention to the following settings.
Here we take opening port 80 as an example. The source filter condition is the IP address range, then write the source IP range, specify the protocol and port, and open this according to your own needs. Related ports.
If you don’t understand, you can also use the picture below. All are allowed. However, this is not very safe. It is only for testing. In actual production, we only open necessary related ports. That's it.
After completing the filling, click Create, and then try to access it again.
