Previously we installed SolusVM on the server. Today we will open OpenVZ on it. This series is mainly based on opening OpenVZ. Please refer to the official Wiki for KVM and XEN. In addition, what this article describes is to install the master directly on the server and set up a VPS on this server. Please refer to it for controlling multiple servers. It is also very simple.
Following the previous article, after logging in to the SolusVM management panel, first activate the authorization, write the New License Key at the bottom of the login page, and then submit it.
Then, please change your administrator password immediately, click on the header menu CONFIGURATION, Administrators, select User Edit, and submit the new password.

Next we are going to open the chicken, I am really excited~~~~

Before creating a VPS, we need to deal with these things, including: adding IP, adding Nodes, adding users, adding packages, etc. If you do not have a default system template, you also need to add an operating system template for the client to choose.
Let’s add the IP first. Click IP BLOCKS, Add IPv4 Block.

Then, add the IP to the IP block, add as many as there are, fill in the IP, click add ip address and it's OK.
Next we add a user, which is also necessary. The VPS created later must be assigned to a user.
Click on the header menu Clients, Add Client.

Next, we add a package, for example, a package with 256MB of memory.
Click on the header Plans and Add OpenVZ Plan.
This is very simple, I won’t take screenshots, the main thing is to specify the memory, hard disk, monthly traffic and other restrictions.
Since we installed SolusVM directly on the hen to open the chick, Nodes has been automatically added. You just need to edit it, such as the available memory and hard disk of the hen, whether to use vSWAP, whether to enable TUN and PPP, etc. .

The next step is to really start the chicken. Click Virtual Servers in the header menu, select Add Virtual Server, and click OpenVZ in the next virtualization.
solusvm-10
Select Node and package, fill in the basic information, including host name, user, operating system and IP, etc.
solusvm-11
The system automatically generates an account.
solusvm-12
OK, after clicking Continue, the VPS will be opened.
This article on Good VPS mainly introduces the opening of OpenVZ products. KVM and XEN architecture involve more details. You can refer to the official Wiki. The above process is not authoritative and exclusive. It is recorded by novices and should not be criticized by experts.
